As you can see, we photograph everything from Basketball to Wrestling. With the exception of action images, we photograph individuals against a white backdrop. We generally take 3-5 different poses. We then extract them from the background and place them on a virtual background. See example to the right. 

We usually match background and or templates colors to the team/group colors. We have hundreds of templates/backgrounds and we're constantly working to design more so images from one season or year don't look that same as the previous/next. 

As far as team/group photos goes, it's the same process. We do not photograph teams/groups as one, we photograph everyone individually and assemble the team from those individual images. This process involves more work with editing but it makes for much better team and group photos. No more worrying about one individual looking away from the camera. Also, if someone isn't available on picture day they can be added later since everyone is placed individually.
